Conclusion.......While Pendleton’s historic district remains largely intact, strategic action is needed to sustain and strengthen our preservation efforts. Expanding the local district, reassessing buildings, prioritizing at-risk atructures and continuing to strengthen preservation efforts are needed. Attention to these matters will help ensure that the town's architectural heritage continues to be protected for future generations.
